Pas de démarrage électrique de la carte

No electrical start of the card

The card does not start electrically and does not turn on its green light or red lights when it comes to power or when it comes out by pressing one of its buttons.

  • Check the input supply voltage (230V AC) and transformer output (20-22V AC)
    • Replace the 5A fuse if necessary
  • Disconnect accessories (fire and photocells) and Hall effect card (see Appendix 3) from the electronic card
    • If the electronic card starts electrically, identify the accessory in question and remove it.
  • Check the F2 fuse (left fuse) on the card (15 AT) for power via the transformer
  • Reverse fuses F1 and F2.
    • If the card does not start electrically, it is Out of Service

Problème de communication radio

Radio communication problem

The electronic card does not respond to a remote control button or the composition of a code on the wireless code keyboard.

Check above all the proper functioning of the remote control (sight that lights up when pressing a key, replaced battery, etc.)

It is recommended to carry out the tests using several remote controls in order to evacuate technical concern on a single remote control.

  • Check the lack of display of an error code by the electronic card (self-learning, emergency stop, etc.)
    • If a code appears, refer to the leaflet table or tutorial to correct the error.
    • NOTE: If the card reacts to press the remote control button by launching the fire flashing, without displaying error lights, and without launching the electric motor, refer to "Working L4 and L5: The emergency stop input has been activated" which you will find below in this tutorial.
  • Check the flashing of the green LED L0 of the electronic card when pressing the remote control.
    • If the green LED L0 does not flash, the electronic card is Out of Service.
  • Check that the green light does not flash permanently.
    • Blurring of the map. Identify and eliminate the parasitic radio source.

In case of loss of radio range:

  • Check the range distance of the remote control
    • If the range is less than 2m, the electronic card is potentially Out of Service.
    • If the range goes beyond 2m, potential interference of the card.

In case of reaction of the card when it is out of standby (Voyant L0 on) but no reaction of the card when it is on standby (See L0 off):

  • Check if a product is plugged in dry contact to the map.
    • Disconnect the product in question and make an electrical restart of the card.

  • Check the power supply voltage (short support to SET of the card).
    • If no red lights turn on, unplug the accessories of the card (fire and photocells).
    • If the red lights still do not turn on, the electronic card is Off Service.
Déclenchement intempestif

Untimely triggering

Your engine triggers without given order, or starts an operating cycle or stops during the cycle without error code.

  • Check if a product is plugged in dry contact to the map.
    • Disconnect the product in question and make an electrical restart of the card.
Pas de détection par les photocellules

No detection by photocells

The card does not take into account your passage in front of the photocells:

  • Perform an electric restart of the card, and view the result of the autotest
    • If the autotest fails (L2L5 error code), refer to the chapter corresponding to the error code
    • If self is successful, try again to start a closing cycle, and pass in front of the photocells
      • If no detection, restart aself-learning, and verify that the portal is closed.

The card takes into account your passage in front of the photocells, but only at the beginning and end of the closing cycle:

  • Connect an electrical wire between the motor carcass and a GND input of the card.

Error with code displayed by the card: Before About

When the card encounters an error, whether during a self-learning phase, or during an operating cycle, it will stop the current cycle and display one or more red lights.

It is important to identify this error code in order to understand what is happening.

Attention:

Self-learning and operating cycle (order given by remote control or dry contact) have similar error codes (even LED that lights up), but whose meaning differs.

Pay attention to the operation that the card performs when the error arrives to find out which specific code refer to.

REPEL: Self-learning

To learn more about self-learning, see thistutorial.

Self-learning L5: Engine is not connected to electronic card

This error code indicates that the card did not see any electric current consumed by the electric motor.

  • Check the engine connection to the map.
  • Unplug the motor from the card, test it on battery.
    • If the engine runs, the card is Out Service
    • If it does not turn, the engine is Out of Service

Auto learning L4: The engine rotated 60 seconds behind without the portal finding a stop

This error code indicates that the card did not see the blocking of the electric motor when the portal arrives on the stop during the opening phase of self-learning.

  • Check the power supply voltage
    • In case of underpower, the motor will not rotate fast enough to reach the opening stop before the end of the max duration
  • Check that the engine wheel remains in the rack rail
    • See Annex 1
  • Check the mechanical strength of the engine
    • Check the engine clutch
    • Check that the electric motor does not continue to rotate while the gate is stopped on the stop

Self-learning L4 and L5: The engine turned 60 seconds behind without the portal finding a stop

This error code indicates that the card did not see the blocking of the electric motor when the portal arrives on the stop during the closing phase of the self-learning.

  • Check that the engine wheel remains in the rack rail
    • See Annex 1
  • Check the mechanical engine strength
    • Check the engine clutch
    • Check that the electric motor does not continue to rotate while the gate is stationary on the stop (Appendix 4)

Auto learning L3: The engine turned less than 3 seconds to open the portal

This error code indicates that the card thinks that the portal has reached its opening stop in less than 3s while the portal starts from its closed position.

  • Check the connection and integrity of the Hall effect card wires (see Appendix 3)
    • If the connection is ok, the Hall effect card is Out of Service
  • Check the magnet solidarity with the electric motor axis (see Annex 4)
    • If the magnet rotates without driving the axis of the motor, fold the magnet with superglu or metal glue
  • Check the power supply voltage (support once on the card SET)
    • If no red lights are lit, unplug the accessories from the card (fire and photocells)
    • If red lights still do not turn on, the electronic card is Out of Service

Self-learning L3 and L5: The engine turned less than 3 seconds to close the portal

This error code indicates that the card thinks that the portal has reached its closing stop in less than 3s while the portal starts from its open position.

Self-learning L3,4 and 5: The portal did not travel the same distance in opening and closing

This error code applied when the card believes that the electric motor did not achieve the same number of turns between opening and closing.

  • Check the magnet solidarity with the electric motor axis
    • If the magnet rotates without driving the axis of the motor, fold the magnet with superglu or metal glue
  • Check that the engine wheel remains in the rack rail when arriving on the stop
    • See Annex 1
  • Check the state of the rack teeth

Self-learning L2: Self-learning was interrupted by the user

This error code indicates that you cancelled self-learning by pressing the SET key once. This is an information code.

Attention:

It is possible that this is an error code indicating an electrical restart of the card.

If you have not requested cancellation by pressing the SET key, and this error code appears as soon as self-learning is launched, you will need to refer to a diagnosis of the diet.

Operation L4 and 5: Emergency Arrest entry has been activated

This error code appears when the card's emergency stop circuit has been opened. This error code often occurs when the device is first started.

  • Check the connection of the shunt between STOP and GND on the electronic card
    • Remove the shunt completely and put it back by tightening the vis.Use a flexible wire

Operation L3: A power failure of the card has been detected, can be a short circuit on the +12V output

This error code indicates that a short circuit is present on the +12V output of the card.

  • Check the connection of the accessories.
  • Disconnect accessories
    • If the error code disappears, identify the accessory in question and neutralize it.

NOTE: If you unplug the photocells, consider performing an electric restart of the card

Operation L3 and 5: Obstacle detection took place on the opening portal

This error code has nothing to do with photocell detection.

This error code indicates that the card recorded excessive current consumption with prolonged portal slowing down or engine shutdown before the opening end of cycle stop.

  • Check the card settings.
    • If this error code appears at the launch of the portal, decrease strength and increase acceleration.
    • If this error code appears during the cycle, increase strength.
  • Check the installation of the engine on the portal
    • Make sure that the rack rail is not too low.
  • Make sure that nothing gene the movement of the portal
  • Make a new self-learning.

Operation L3,4 and 5: The photocell beam has been cut

This code indicates that the photocells in place detected an obstacle during a closing cycle.

If you did not see any obstacle during a closing cycle:

  • Perform an electric restart of the card
    • If the card displays L2 and 5 or L2 when restart, check the photocell circuit.

If you do not have photocells:

  • Reactivate the photocell autotest in the card settings.
    • See package leaflet

Operation L2: Failure of autotest photocells, PHO input always remained at mass

This error code is a result of self-test photocellule (see Appendix 5). The Receiver photocell did not open its relay during the test.

  • Check theconnectionphotocells.
    • The + of the digital photocell must go to VTX of the card (and not +12V).
    • The output of the Receiver photocell must be the NC output.
  • Check, when the card is powered on, that the light of the receiving photocell goes well from Orange, to Red to return to Orange. If the light remains Orange all along:
    • Photocells Potential Emitterly Out of Service.
    • VTX output of the unmanned card. Connect the flashing light to the VTX/GND output and perform an electric restart of the card. Constate if the fire Clignotates.

Operation L2 and 5: Failure of autotest photocells, PHO input is never in contact with mass

This error code is a result of self-test photocellule (see Appendix 5).

This error code is normal if you do not have photocells connected to the card.

This error code indicates that the card has never seen the relay of the closed Receiver photocell.

It is important to check when this error code appears.

  • At the electrical start of the card and during an order launch of a closing cycle:
  • Check the connection of the photocells.
    • Check the presence of the shunt between COM and " -"

  • Check the presence of the Orange light on the Receiver photocell.
    • Check the connections and correct contact of the wires at the photocells.

  • As soon as you try to launch the electric motor (including manual piloting and self-learning), this is an electric restart of the card.
  • Check the power supply voltage (support once on SET) and the power source.
    • If the red lights are off, unplug the accessories from the card (fire and photocells).
    • If the red lights still do not turn on, the electronic card is Off Service.
  • Check that the engine is not short-circuit
    • Test the engine on an independent power source (12V battery)
  • Check that an accessory is not short-circuit
    • Unplug accessories from the card

Operation L2 and 4: Failure of autotest photocells, power supply of the TX photocell caused a short circuit

This error code is a result of self-test photocellules (see Appendix 5).

  • Check the connection of the Metering photocell.
    • Check the arrival of the threads on the photocell and on the map.
    • Test the wires to validate the absence of short circuit on the line.
    • Replace the connecting cable.

Operation L2,3 and 5: Self-learning is not valid because it has never been done, launch a self-learning

This error code indicates that self-learning must be performed.

At the first start of the device, after a reset of the card or after a change of settings (Force, Speed and Acceleration), it is imperative to perform a self-learning.

Follow thistutorialto make one.

Operation L1 and 5 Obstacle detection took place on the closed gate

This error code has nothing to do with photocell detection.

Error code indicates that the card noted excessive current consumption with prolonged gate or engine shutdown before the end-of-cycle stop.

Fonctionnement L1,3 et 4 ou L1,3,4 et 5 Trois d...

Operation L1,3 and 4 or L1,3,4 and 5 Three consecutive obstacle detections

This error code has nothing to do with photocell detection.

Error code indicates that the card recorded excessive current consumption with prolonged gate or engine shutdown before the end-of-cycle stop, repeatedly and consecutively.

See error L3 and 5 or L1 and 5 for correction.

Operation L1 and L2,3,4 and 5: Permanent dry contacts to mass

This error code indicates that a wired control member connected to the card has its contact permanently closed.

  • Check that the output of the control device is NO (not NC).
  • Check the closing time of the relay of the control device.
    • Maximum 2s
  • Check the connecting cable between the control device and the electronic card.
    • Make a connection with a flying cable.
    • Restart the card electrically.

Operation: Codes related to power supply

These error codes indicate a voltage that is too low to operate the card.

If you have a connected backup battery:

  • Check the presence and voltage of the backup battery
    • Unplug the transformer from the card and make a short support on SET of the card).
      • Remove the number of red lights on. If you have less than 3 lights, the battery is empty.

If you do not have a connected backup battery:

  • Check the power supply voltage (short support on the card).
    • If the red lights are off, unplug the accessories from the card (fire and photocells).
    • If the red lights still do not turn on, the electronic card is Out of Service.

Annex 1: Submission of the portal

Erreur:

One of the errors that happens regularly without necessarily indicating code is as follows:

When the gate arrives on a stop (opening or closing), the motor wheel does not stop and continues to turn.

This happens when the rack rail is slightly too high, or when the gate is light or poorly stabilized.

When arriving on its stop, the portal may tend to rise slightly, which will have the effect of training the rack rail with it. Thus, the wheel of the motor does not remain blocked in the rail and the card cannot materialize the end of travel.

Correction to apporter

  • Check the space between the rack and the engine wheel
  • Climb on the rack rail shortly before the portal arrives on its stop in order to weigh it down.
  • Review the fixing of the rack at the end of the race.

Annex 2: Hall effect map

The Hall effect card is a component located at the top of the electric motor. Its function is to raise the magnetic field emitted by the magnet during its rotation and to convert it into an electrical signal intended for the electronic card.

For the ZENIA 250, this map is located in a hatch closed by two screws.

Annex 3: Hall effect card connection

Below you will find a representation of the Hall effect card and the wiring arriving on the electronic card.

During a check, especially during a first start-up, remove one by one each cable from the terminal input, unscrew the terminal holding screw as much as possible, put the wire back and tighten as much as possible.

Annex 4: Magnet

The magnet is directly related to the axis of the electric motor. It rotates at the same time as the latter and releases a magnetic field indicating to the electronic card, via the Hall effect card, that the motor is in rotation, and how many turns the latter performs during an operating cycle.

Annex 5: Autotest photocell

The system performs an autotest of photocells
(connected to "PHO") at several times:

  • To detect photocells when put under
    voltage
  • To detect photocells during the
validation of the adjustment of the operating mode
  • Before moving the portal if they
are active for the type of movement
    requested.

This test is carried out in 3 steps:

  1. The card feeds the emitting photocells and
Receiver, and looks if the "PHO" entry
is mass (closed contact, which occurs if the receiving photocell receives an infrared beam)
  2. The card cuts the power of the photocell
transmitter (VTX), and looks if the "PHO" input
is no longer connected to ground (open contact, absence of the infrared beam)
  3. the card gives the power of the photocell
transmitter, and verifies that the "PHO" input is
    again to mass.
