Your electric motor no longer meets and you need to replace it. Follow the step by step of this tutorial. The engine comes with its mechanical reduction system. Do not try to separate these two elements at the risk of losing internal elements that it will be very complicated to go up without damaging this set.For simplicity it will be necessary to remove all the internal elements from the jack. |
Difficulty: Good DIYer Time required: 25 minutes Number of steps: 24 Updated: October 2025 | Equipment required: Key or BTR head of 4, Cruciforme screwdriver Detached part(s): No spare parts required. |
If you want to use a screwdriver; to access the BTR screws at the fork without having to present the crossing BTR head and risk damaging the hollow of the screw, assemble two endpiece extensions.
Remove the 4 screw protective rubbers from the screws.
Unscrew and remove the 4 BTR screws.
Cut the back fork and remove it completely by passing it through the cable.
Remove the black wedge.
Remove the 4 protective rubbers and unscrew the 4 BTR screws to remove the front.
Remove the front face.
You access the screw endlessly. Pull it out to get it out of the jack.
Do not lose both ball bearings.
Do not lose this element that links the endless screw and the mechanical reduction system of the engine. It can be found on the endless screw or remain on the motor axis. Expect his fall during the next stage.
Push the engine towards the rear face of the jack.
The engine will be hard to get out. This is due to the presence of rubber blades that allow its good stability in the jack. If necessary, take a screwdriver to help you with the thrust.
Once the engine is out enough, remove the black plastic bottom protection, taking care to raise the cables of the engine to pass it.
You can then shoot from the head to continue extracting the engine.
The engine came out.
In order to avoid losing them, before starting the engine replacement, remove the 4 rubber plates from the engine holder.
Unscrew and remove the 4 small cruciform screws.
Separate the electric motor from its support.
You can discard the electric motor and use the new one from the next step.
Reposition the new engine on the stand. Be careful to put the engine back by paying attention to ensuring that its electric wire (red arrow) is at the bottom right during the final rise.
Control its position relative to the locations of the rubber blades (green arrow) that will be on the side faces of the engine.
Then turn the screws to connect the support to the engine.
Put the rubber blades back to the engine holder.
Press the rubber blades to pass them into the reinforcement of the jack, and push it inwards
(Without non-aesthetic) Locate the direction of the jack before passing the engine. This must be opposed to the inscription "Avidsen" on the jack
Push the flower engine of the cylinder reinforcement.
Put the lower protection by taking care to raise the motor cable well to pass it.
Reposition the black wedge.
Push the blossom of the cylinder reinforcement.
Iron the engine fork by cable.
Turn it over the engine casing and put the rubber protections back.
Hold the cable-pass joint on the fork to prevent it from leaving when the fork
Put in place on the endless screw the link between the endless screw and the electric motor before performing the following
Insert the endless screw into the jack and push it to the engine.
The bearing of the endless screw must enter the motor support so that the link to the endless screw integrates the motor axis.
Lightly push the screw endlessly and see if the rolling enters well.
If the bearing does not return, this means that the motor axis is not in the same position as the endless screw.
Turn the screw slightly endless while pushing it slightly inwards
Before finalizing the repositioning of the front face, power the motor using a 9V battery or 12V battery, and check and that the carriage is running smoothly and closed.
Put the front face of the jack. Think about putting the notch towards the circulation hole of the endless screw trolley.
Turn the screws and set up the rubber protections.
Congratulations, you have replaced your electric motor from your jack and it is again ready to operate your gate fighters.
