Prediagnosis AVLO

Prediagnosis AVLO

Prédiagnostic AVLO

We will discuss in this tutorial, the defects that can be encountered by the electronic card for 24V beating portal, how to identify them clearly, and what to do to remedy them.

Difficulty: Moderate
Time required: 1 minutes
Number of steps: 1
Updated: October 2025
Pas de démarrage électrique de la carte

No electrical start of the card

The card does not start electrically and does not turn on its green light and red lights when it comes to power or when it comes out by pressing one of its buttons.

  • Check the input supply voltage (230V AC) and transformer output (20-22V AC)
    • Replace the 5A fuse if necessary
  • In the case of battery power supply and solar panel, make sure that the motorization output of the solar kit is connected to the BAT terminals of the electronic card.
  • Make sure that a 24VDC voltage is present on the BAT terminals.
Problème de communication radio

Radio communication problem

The electronic card does not respond to a remote control button or the composition of a code on the wireless code keyboard.

Check above all the proper functioning of the remote control (sight that lights up when pressing a key, replaced battery, etc.)

It is recommended to carry out the tests using several remote controls in order to evacuate technical concern on a single remote control.

  • Check the lack of display of an error code by the electronic card (self-learning, obstacle, etc.)
    • If a code appears, refer to the leaflet table or tutorial to correct the error.
  • Check the flashing of the green LED L0 of the electronic card when pressing the remote control.
    • If the green LED L0 does not flash, the electronic card is Out of Service.
  • Check that the green light does not flash permanently.
    • Blurring of the map. Identify and eliminate the parasitic radio source.

In case of loss of radio range:

  • Check the range distance of the remote control
    • If the range is less than 2m, the electronic card is potentially Out of Service.
    • If the range goes beyond 2m, potential interference of the card.

In case of reaction of the card when it is out of standby (Voyant L0 on) but no reaction of the card when it is on standby (See L0 off):

  • Check if a product is plugged in dry contact to the map.
    • Disconnect the product in question and make an electrical restart of the card.
    • Check the power supply voltage (short press OKof the card).
      • If the red lights are off, unplug the accessories from the card (fire and photocells).
      • If the red lights still do not turn on, the electronic card is Off Service.

Untimely triggering/arreturn

Your engine triggers without given order, or stops alone during the cycle without error code.

  • Check if a product is plugged in dry contact to the map.
    • Disconnect the product in question and make an electrical restart of the card.
Pas de détection par les photocellules

No detection by photocells

The card does not take into account your passage in front of the photocells:

  • Check that the shunt between GND and PHO has been removed from the card.
  • Relaunch aself-learning, and verify that the portal is closed.
    • Correct the connection polarity of motors if necessary (seehere)

The card takes into account your passage in front of the photocells, but only at the beginning and end of the closing cycle:

  • Connect an electrical wire between the motor metal chassis of the motor and a GND input of the card.

Un seul battant fonctionne

Only one beat works

The card only drives one engine (M1) in opening and closing without indicating any error at the indicator level.

  • Put the card back in Beat Mode 2
    • Menu 2 Item 3 of the map (see image opposite)

Error with code displayed by the card: Before About

When the card encounters an error, whether during a self-learning phase, or during an operating cycle, it will stop the current cycle and display one or more red lights.

It is important to identify this error code in order to understand what is happening.

Attention:

Self-learning and operating cycle (order given by remote control or dry contact) have similar error codes (even LED that lights up), but whose meaning differs.

So pay attention to the operation that the card is performing when the error arrives to find out which specific code refer to.

Self-learning L4 Fixed: In Phase 0, the M1 beater found no stop after 60s closing

This error code indicates that the card did not see the current peak of the electric motor M1 when the gate arrives on the stop during the first phase of closing of the self-learning.

  • Check the voltage and power supply means of the card.

  • Check the strength in the card settings.
    • Decrease strength if necessary.
  • Check the installation of the engine on the flats.
    • In case of non-compliance with the installation ribs, the current peak may not be sufficient to be detected by the card.
  • Take a cross-test (see Appendix 1)
    • If the defect follows the electric motor (the error code changes): HS motor
    • If the error code is identical: HS Card

  • Check the installation of the engine on the beat.
    • In case of uncomplied ribs, the engine can open and close too quickly.
  • Check the difference in aperture angle between the beats.
    • In case of too large an angle difference, the offset delay will not be sufficient to prevent M1 from closing before M2. Limit the opening angle of M2.
  • Increase the closing shift time
    • See Menu 3 Item 1
    • The maximum offset delay is 4.5 s.
  • Check that engine 1 always has its end-of-travel acceleration and slow down

  • Check the voltage and power supply means of the card.
    • If power supply by solar kit, check the voltage of each battery disconnected from the solar kit.
  • Check that an engine is not short-circuited.
    • Unplug the motors from the card, and test them on a 12V battery.
  • Disconnect card accessories (flashing fire, photocells)
    • If the defect disappears, identify the accessory in question and neutralize it.

Operation L1 and 2 Clignotants: Unvalid self-learning

This error code indicates that self-learning has not been achieved or that an adjustment requiring a new self-learning has been made.

If this error code appears systematically after an electrical restart, a return to the workshop is required for a software update.

Operation L1,2,3 and 4 Clignotants: The gate control input (2B) is permanently connected to ground

This error code indicates that a wired control member connected to the card has its contact permanently closed.

  • Check the connecting cable between the control device and the electronic card.
    • Make a connection with a flying cable.
    • Restart the card electrically.

Annex 1: Cross-test

A cross-test makes it possible to accurately identify where a non-pilotage defect of the engine.

To do this, it is necessary to reverse the connection of the motors to the card.

Once this is done, it is necessary to restart a test cycle and see if the error code initially identified is the same (and the fault appears on the engine that worked well before), in this case the output of the card is impacted, or if the error code changes (and the same engine is still in default), and in this case, it is the electric motor is involved.
