We will discuss in this tutorial, the defects that can be encountered by the electronic card for 24V beating portal, how to identify them clearly, and what to do to remedy them. |
The card does not start electrically and does not turn on its green light and red lights when it comes to power or when it comes out by pressing one of its buttons.
The electronic card does not respond to a remote control button or the composition of a code on the wireless code keyboard.
Check above all the proper functioning of the remote control (sight that lights up when pressing a key, replaced battery, etc.)
It is recommended to carry out the tests using several remote controls in order to evacuate technical concern on a single remote control.

In case of loss of radio range:
In case of reaction of the card when it is out of standby (Voyant L0 on) but no reaction of the card when it is on standby (See L0 off):
Your engine triggers without given order, or stops alone during the cycle without error code.
The card does not take into account your passage in front of the photocells:
The card takes into account your passage in front of the photocells, but only at the beginning and end of the closing cycle:
The card only drives one engine (M1) in opening and closing without indicating any error at the indicator level.
When the card encounters an error, whether during a self-learning phase, or during an operating cycle, it will stop the current cycle and display one or more red lights.
It is important to identify this error code in order to understand what is happening.
Attention:
Self-learning and operating cycle (order given by remote control or dry contact) have similar error codes (even LED that lights up), but whose meaning differs.
So pay attention to the operation that the card is performing when the error arrives to find out which specific code refer to.
This error code indicates that the card did not see the current peak of the electric motor M1 when the gate arrives on the stop during the first phase of closing of the self-learning.
This error code indicates that the card did not see the current peak of the electric motor M2 when the portal arrives on the stop during the first phase of closing of the self-learning.
This error code indicates that the card did not see any electric current consumed by the electric motor connected to M1.
This error code indicates that the card did not see any electric current consumed by the electric motor connected to M2.
This error code indicates that the card thinks that the beating M1 reached its opening stop in less than 3s while the portal left its closed position.
This error code indicates that the card thinks that the beating M2 reached its opening stop in less than 3s while the portal left its closed position.
This error code indicates that the electronic card did not see the current peak of the M1 engine when it arrives on its opening stop.
This error code indicates that the electronic card did not see the current peak of the M2 engine when it arrives on its opening stop.
This error code indicates that the electronic card did not see current consumption of the M1 engine during the opening phase.
This error code indicates that the electronic card did not see current consumption of the M2 engine during the opening phase.
These error codes indicate that the card failed to correctly calculate the engine current.
This error code indicates that the card found an overconsumption of the M1 engine for a given time during a closing cycle.
This error code is normal if the beater has been retained by an obstacle, or possibly a prolonged burst.
If the defect persists:
If this error code appears when the engine arrives on the closing stop:
This error code indicates that the card found an overconsumption of the M2 engine for a given time during a closing cycle.
This error code is normal if the beater has been retained by an obstacle, or possibly a prolonged burst.
If the defect persists:
If this error code appears when the engine arrives on the closing stop:
This error code indicates that the photocell beam has been cut during a closing cycle
This error code is normal if an obstacle is between the beats at the time of closing cycle, or if someone crossed the beam during a closing cycle.
If you do not have photocells:
If you have photocells, without obstacles between photocells:
This error code indicates that the card found overconsumption of the M1 engine for a given time during an opening cycle.
This error code is normal if the beater has been retained by an obstacle, or possibly an extended burst.
If the defect persists:
If this error code appears when the engine arrives on the closing stop:
This error code indicates that the card found an overconsumption of the M2 engine for a given time during an opening cycle.
This error code is normal if the beater has been retained by an obstacle, or possibly an extended burst.
If the defect persists:
If this error code appears when the engine arrives on the closing stop:
This error code indicates that the card did not see any electric current consumed by the electric motor connected to M1.
This error code indicates that the card did not see any electric current consumed by the electric motor connected to M2.
This error code indicates that the card detected the end of the race in closing of the beat M1 before the arrival of the beatant M2.
These error codes indicate that the card has consecutively identified several obstacle detections (overconsumption of an engine for a given time during an opening or closing cycle).
This error code is normal if the beater has been retained by an obstacle, or possibly an extended burst.
If the defect persists:
If this error code appears when the engine arrives on the closing stop:
This error code indicates that the card lost its power and found it
This error code is normal if you turned off the card, or if a power outage took place.
If this code appears when launching a self-learning or an operating cycle:
This error code indicates that self-learning has not been achieved or that an adjustment requiring a new self-learning has been made.
If this error code appears systematically after an electrical restart, a return to the workshop is required for a software update.
This error code indicates that a wired control member connected to the card has its contact permanently closed.
A cross-test makes it possible to accurately identify where a non-pilotage defect of the engine.
To do this, it is necessary to reverse the connection of the motors to the card.
Once this is done, it is necessary to restart a test cycle and see if the error code initially identified is the same (and the fault appears on the engine that worked well before), in this case the output of the card is impacted, or if the error code changes (and the same engine is still in default), and in this case, it is the electric motor is involved.
