The screen of your EXTEL COMPACT no longer displays an image and the screen remains blue. Replacement of the electronic video card of the door station will be required. Here is a tutorial that allows replacement.Important: Before any intervention or maintenance, please turn off each element of your video doorman and place yourself on a suitable surface so as not to scratch the lens

Step 1: Placement of screws

  • Return the door station
  • Unscrew the 6 cruciform screws using the screwdriver

Step 2: Opening Door station

  • Unboat the rear facade by levering thanks to the plastic spatula and gently lift it.

Step 3: Disconnect electronic video card

  • Remove the connector from the video PCB using the precision clamp. Be careful not to pull on the cables

Step 4: Remove the rear facade

  • Pepper the rear facade of the 180° door station
  • Remove the connector from the Infrared LEDs using the precision clamp. Be careful not to pull on the cables

Step 5: Remove the infrared module

  • Unscrew both cruciform screws from the infrared module using the cruciform screwdriver
  • Remove the infrared module

Step 6: Remove Electronic Video Card

  • Unscrew the 4 cruciform screws of the video module using the cruciform screwdriver
  • Remove the video module

Step 7: Reinstall electronic video card

  • Reposition the new video module. Be careful in the sense of resting up (make sure the tube is on the upper part)

  • Make sure you pass the cables. The cable of the video module must exit from the right

Step 8: Fix the Electronic Video Card

  • Fill the 4 cruciform screws of the video module

Step 9: Reinstall the infrared module

  • Reposition the infrared module
  • Make sure you pass the cables. The infrared module cable must exit to the left

Step 10: Connect the infrared module

  • Recognize the infrared module, the connector has a detromper

Step 11: Connect Electronic Video Card

  • Recognize the electronic video card, the connector has a detromper.

Step 12: Finalization

  • Close the backrest Be careful not to pinch or damage the wires.
  • Turn the 6 cruciform screws.
  • The replacement is complete.
