We'll see in this tutorial how to connect a solar kit |
The solar kit uses two 7Ah 12V lead batteries.
Before using the engine for the first time, let the batteries charge at least 24 hours.
Pay close attention to connections. Respect polarity under any circumstances at the risk of damaging the device.
Be careful to avoid short circuit. Soak the wires well when connecting.
Plug two wires into the panel. Locate the sons + and - well.
Then plug the solar panel to the MPPT card into the box of the solar kit respecting the polarity.
Be careful, you need to connect the batteries according to the power supply voltage of your engine.
If it is a 12V motorization, the batteries must be connected in parallel.
If it is a 24V engine, you need to connect the batteries in series.
Today all our engines are in 24V.
The connection 12V relates only to old engines.
This connection will not be addressed in this tutorial.
Cosses of the parallel connection 12V opposite.
24V series connection pads opposite.
Once you have spotted the type of connection, plug the + and - to the MPPT card.
Connect two wires to the Motorization output of the MPPT card.
For sliding motorization cards, directly connect the two wires at the "Moization" output of the MPPT card to the SOL + SOL input - respecting the polarity.
For 24V swing gate motorizations, use the supplied connector must be usedwith motorization.
It is located in a craft bag.
Use a domino to make a connection between the MPPT card output cables and the connector.
Attention: Do not use the 230V terminal block of the transformer to make the connection.
Then connect the pods to the batteries.
It is possible when the circuit is closed, when connecting the last lug, that a spark appears at the level of the lug. This is a normal phenomenon.
