104717 - Universal remote control programming

Please find below a tutorial to help programming your universal remote control on your portal automation

The programming of your remote control will be done in 2 steps.
Make sure you have the original remote control of your portal automation as well as the universal remote control nearby

Step 1: Copy of the radio signal from the original remote control

  1. Press the 1st button (top left) of the universal remote control and let it pressed.
  2. Immediately afterwards, press the 2nd button (top left).
  3. Release the button, the red light must flash slowly.


  1. While the LED of the Avidsen remote control flashes, holdpress the duplicate button from the original remote control untilWhat the LED of the universal remote control starts flashingquickly.

  1. Without releasing the button to copy, press the button of theuniversal remote control on which you want to store the code.
In our example, we have you use the button at the top left. A brief support on it will emit an identical radio signal to the original remote control.


  1. The operating indicator of the universal remote controllights fixed for a second, then turns off.
  2. The copy iscompleted.


Step 2: Programming of remote control on automation

The programming procedure will depend on the model of the engine as well as its mark.
Here are some examples of programming.


Avidsen Portal motorization

AVLO Card

  1. Press " -", L1 turns on.
  2. Press OK, L1 and L4 turn on alternately.
  3. Within 10 seconds, press theremote control button to be stored.
  4. If the red LEDs all turn on for 1second = the memorization went well.
  5. If the red LEDs all turn on flashing3 times = the system exceeded 10 secondswaiting without receiving something ofvalid, start programming again.


CA2B9 Map

  1. Press "-" › L1 turns on.
  2. Press SET, L1 and L5 turn on alternately.Within 10 seconds, press the remote control button to store.
  3. If the red LEDs all turn on for 1 second = the storage went well.
  4. If the red LEDs all turn on flashing 3 times = the system exceeded 10 seconds of waiting withoutreceive something valid › Repeat programming.


CAME portal motorization

  1. Open the caseof the receiver. It is usually close to your engine.
  2. Once your receiver is opened, locate the programming button
  3. Press the button on your universal remote control and the buttonof your receiver
  4. Release the buttons.
  5. Your remote control is programmed.


SOMFY portal motorization

  1. Press the "POWER" button in the electronic box for 2 seconds. The POWER light turns on.
  2. Place the universal remote control on the target on the electronic box.
  3. Quick press (<0.5s) on the remote control button that will control the opening/closing of the engine. The RADIO light turns on during support and then turns off when you release the button.
  4. The remote control is stored as a total opening/closing control.
